We are a family owned and operated ranch located in Bay City, Texas specializing in weaning light weight locally sourced calves. Through education and experience, we have developed a program and set of procedures that have delivered desirable results.

Every step, procedure and practice has been developed with the cattle and the customers’ needs as the purpose. Through stockmanship, quality nutrition and pharmaceuticals, management and engineering controls we have created a low stress environment that allows a calf to be comfortable and have its requirements adequately attended to in order for it to perform and develop properly with intent for it to continue to do so. We take careful consideration to both not take all of the “good” out of a calf as well as to “actually” straighten them out.

With the next producer’s success in mind, we do not just put any calf available on a deal. We make every effort to remove any cattle that are known to be problematic or non-performing. We have and will continue to attempt to take as much of the risk out of calves that we put on a truck as possible. When we say, “it is it means that it was”.

Our core belief is that success is a result and not a destination that a shortcut can take you to. So, we will continue to operate in a way that puts the cattle first.
